~ News ~ IMPORTANT - Annual Meeting and Reception Saturday September 4th Posted on Aug 22, 2010 Don't forget that our Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for 9AM on Saturday September 4th - Labor Day weekend. Our social reception will be from 5 - 7 PM.  Owners and guests are invited to the reception. Both events will take place "under the tent". Mark you calendar and plan to attend both of these important events.   Tall Ships Visit Boyne City Posted on Aug 21, 2010 Boyne City was fortunate to have two "tall ships" visit the city on August 10th and 11th. The ships were The Spirit of Baltimore II from Baltimore, Maryland and Lynx from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The ships are making a summer tour of the Great Lakes with scheduled stops in several cities from Montreal to Chicago.  The ships will be in Traverse City on September 2-4. For more information on the tall ships:                                      Click Here   Hotel Dilworth Redevelopment Discussed by City Commission Posted on Aug 20, 2010 The Boyne City Commission, at their July 27th meeting, discussed the "Dilworth Hotel Feasibility Study" that was prepared by architectural and hotel consulting groups on behalf of the city and a developer. It appears there is a developer and investors interested in returning the hotel to a first class historical hotel. This project could be very important to future development in Boyne City. To read the minutes from the July 27th Commission meeting:     Click Here    Boyne Area Events Planned for September Posted on Aug 20, 2010 As Summer winds down, so do the area events. Labor Day weekend features the annual Boyne City Car Show in Veteran's Park, the Red Fox Regatta on Lake Charlevoix and in Veteran's Park and the Boyne City Police Department Drag Races at the Airport. Also on Labor day weekend, the tall ship "Lynx" will be docked in Charlevoix. An internationally recognized antique and classic boat show will take place at Bay Harbor on September 17-18.  Details for all events are contained in the "Upcoming Events" column on the right. Enjoy the end of summer at The Harborage!   New Charter Contact and Technical Information Posted on Aug 19, 2010 We have a new contact at Charter Communications for our Association. Charter provides cable TV and Internet service on a group basis for The Harborage. Our new customer service representative is Aaron French and he can be reached at 800-283-6687, extension 1713. Aaron is available from 9AM until 6PM on Tuesday through Saturday. Aaron can answer any questions you have and assist with any upgrades you may desire. More information can be found in the "Frequently Asked Questions" section, item "g". Also, a new Charter "Technical Tips" document has been added to the "Documents" section of the website. This document may help owners solve problems with their internet or cable connections.      66 Owners Are Now Registered! Posted on Aug 18, 2010 Our new website went live on April 1st.  Association members are asked to join your neighbors and register (click on "Register") so that you can explore the members-only areas of the site. Thanks to the 66 owners who have already registered.
