SOBO Arts Festival This Weekend

The arts will be celebrated in Boyne City at the 4th annual SOBO Arts Festival. The festival kicks off on Friday, June 28, with the "SOBO Street Stroll" from 6-9 p.m., showcasing musical performances and business open houses, culminating with an outdoor concert featuring the 17-member Bay Area Big Band. On Saturday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) "SOBO by the Shore" festival activities move to nearby Peninsula Beach, a beautiful park with ample lawn and open space on the shore of Lake Charlevoix. Events for children, artist demonstrations and workshops blend with more than 40 artists on display in the juried art fair to create a true celebration of the arts.
